Review of Little Big Man (1970) by Ashley H — 25 Jul 2010
One of the few five-star worthy western epic ever made, after my opinion. It can be compared to Forrest Gump, In the way we follow a man who appeard in the biggest event in the american history. This time we follow the extraordinary life of Jack Crabb who at age of ten was adopted by Indians and then lived with the white people where he does't seen to fit in, trying to being a gunfighter and being a husban to an swedish women whoom he cannot satisfy and to the end of being a drunk.
It's an on and of life, being an indian or a white man. I like it that the story is told by an 121 years old Jack Crabb, which by the way are the most belivable preformance done by the 33 year old Dustin Hoffman with a hoarse voice and in the best make-up work ever done.
This is one of the few movies that you can say have everything. My favorit western, next to The Wild Bunch.
