Review of Little Big Man (1970) by Kevin D — 13 Jul 2010
Not flawless. Epsisodic by construction, it has bits that don't build to anything and the shifts from comedy to tragedy are jarringas often as they are inspired. Chief Dan George is Penn's secret weapon here, especially when solemnly intoning about the penchant of a rival tribe's women to copulate with horses.
