Review of Little Big League (1994) by Robert B — 01 Jun 2008
A kid running a major league team? Ok, whatever. Hopefully they didn't pass him any steroids and stunt his growth. Big, bad Timothy Busfield as the disgruntled veteran. Believable. Grandfather dying and leaving his grandson his team, IN A TAPED ANNOUNCEMENT, not.
Never could figure that was the movie's way of saying he killed himself. Any way, one of the great movie endings of alltime. Busfield drives one deep to center, the Twins are going to win! No! Ken Griffey robes the homer and they lose.
CLASSIC.
