'Liquid Sky' could easily have been filmed in Sydney in the early 80's. Same nihilistic trash talking new wave punk and drug scene. What I found prophetic was idea of sex kills - LQ was made just before the mid- 80's AIDS epidemic sent chills through suburban Australia.
