A good effort by the aging giant, a roaring cinematic lion, redford himself. yet...not very statisfying, perhaps because you expect so much from a redford film. streep is marvelous (i swear, every wrinkle on her face has an expression), cruise scarily but perhaps rightly deranged in this role.
the movie itself cannot hold together as a cohesive story line. a good effort, but that's about it - an effort.
