Review of Lions for Lambs (2007) by Hayley O — 09 Aug 2008

I can't believe this film opened to poor reviews. The acting was superb especially from the three leads. I enjoyed the way war on all fronts of society was explored from education of the rising militants and the apathetic American, to congress and the media role in propaganda and the shaping of national and international opinion.

I can' really decide if the film is pro or against war but I think that is the point. It is about the war itself and our versions of it. Clever, thoughtful film which stayed with me for a while.
