Review of Lions for Lambs (2007) by Nathan S — 18 Aug 2008
An intriguing political film that sees the relationship between citizen, government and the military examined. It raises many questions about the responsibility of the citizen to the state. And admittedly makes no effort to answer those questions but expects you the viewer to have mind enough to answer them for yourself.
Some may find the lack of a traditional conclusion with heart warming answers unsatisfying, but many will see that the movie is about more than what's on screen and that not all battles are fought in the field.
