I'm convinced that we don't yet have enough distance from the Iraqi conflagration to make meaningful film about it. This movie is little more than a cliched lecture, and even though I generally agreed with the politics, its didactic style irked me.
The only good storyline dealt with the soldiers themselves, and that got precious little airtime.
