Review of Lions for Lambs (2007) by Jerry B — 16 Oct 2009
Despite a stellar cast this movie is boring to the core. Even the "war" scenes don't seem to have much of a bite to them. The majority of the film is just a debate over the validity of the war on terror, and Redford makes it painfully obvious what his stance is.
With a running time of only about 80 minutes, it still feels like a 2 hour movie because of all the talking, thank God it wasn't 2 hours or I would've had to watch it in parts. If you enjoy watching debates, then you'll probably love this movie.
If not, I recommend skipping it.
