Brilliant - it is easy to see why US audiences stayed away: it is another reminder that Iraq and Afghanistan are sequels. Vietnam Part II and III. The acting is exceptional, the characters believable. It is easy to see Tom Cruise as a US Senator with his utter self-belief that the Almighty American way is the only way.
