[i]Lions for Lambs [/i]is a movie about the truth but didn't Jack Nicholson warn Tom Cruise decades ago that the public "...cannot handle the truth"?

But I can see how the script and offer was hard to pass up. Robert Redford would direct, Meryl Streep would be a co-star, along with Derek Luke and Michael Peña.

Still, imagine if your brother, sister, husband or wife is currently serving the country in foreign lands; staring death in the eye and defying it every day ~ would you be willing to make peace with the fact that it was for [i]nothing[/i] but mere pawns of higher powers that be for personal interests; even if it's the truth?

I know I won't.
