Review of Lions for Lambs (2007) by Adam P — 20 Feb 2011
The movie is divided into 2 lectures and 1 story. Tom Cruise and Meryl Streep spend the movie talking about foreign politics in an office. That's all they do. Robert Redford and some kid spend the movie talking about foreign politics in a school.
That's all they do. 2 soldiers fall out of a helicopter and fall into the Afghani snow (that part is good). They spent the entire movie lying in the snow only to be shot in the end. There are some good arguments raised in the "movie", but they could have been discussed in a 5 minute youtube clip.
You would enjoy this if you enjoy listening people talk to each other about US politics. (P.S. Tom Cruise doesn't shoot anyone (or even leave his office)).
