Review of Lion (2016) by Ali G — 24 Feb 2017
Amazing emotionally driven story that makes you feel every single step that 5 year old Saroo takes. Makes your heart stop at every threat and brings you warmth at his achievements. Not an inherently sad movie yet I had tears rolling down my cheeks at so many moments.
Side note, Dev Patel's Aussie accent is on point and he is looking damn good too. Initially thought it was one of those good movies you'd only feel the need to see once, but I already wanna see it again.
