Review of Lion (2016) by Nick A — 22 Jan 2017
This film was a tender portrayal of an Indian child's odyssey. Deeply touching taking the viewer on an emotional rollercoaster. Disconnection from childhood roots intersecting with the dreams of an Australian couple ultimately the call to find a man's mother and brother make for the most tearjerking finale in cinema history.
I left the cinema more humble and emotionally spent for the day.
