Review of Lion (2016) by Jacob N — 18 Jun 2017

This film starts out so heartbreaking that I almost didn't want to finish it, but it turns into something beautiful. Dev Patel gives an amazing performance as a man who is searching for his family after being gone for so long an not knowing anything about where he comes from.

Sunny Pawar gives a great performance as the younger version of Dev Patels character, he gave the character of Saroo so much life. This story is rather predictable, I knew what the outcome at the end of the film was going to be, so I wasn't surprised along he way or at the end.

This is however a beautiful film that anyone can enjoy!
