Review of Link (1986) by Clelie R — 06 Mar 2008
Mildly amusing movie about a student going out to the countryside to assist to an animal researcher (played by the underused Terence Stamp, who is always a pleasure to watch) and his monkey pal Link, who is too damn smart for his own good.
Soon, the Stamp disappears and the monkey spends the next hundred minutes tormenting and stalking young Elizabeth Shue, and then tries to kill her. Has some good moments, but slightly slow paced. Director Richard Franklin still manages to create some suspense to it!
