Review of Linha de Passe (2008) by Virag V — 29 Sep 2008
A very real portrait of the poor in Sao Paulo, trying to make ends meet. The film takes a snapshot of one family's experiences over a few months, focussing on the trials and tribulations of four brothers and their single, pregnant mother.
Moving, heart-felt and honest, this film is touching in every way, but quite depressing too.
