Review of Lincoln (2012) by Denver R — 16 Oct 2013
First off, Daniel Day-Lewis alone makes the film worth watching, his performance being overwhelmingly convincing and inspiring. As for Spielberg, this may be one of his most well-made films from a technical standpoint, but it's not at all his best.
To be honest, I think Spielberg took too much liberty with mixing fact with fiction on this one. Still, it's an exceptional film and worth at least one viewing.
