With an interesting story, a fine script full of powerful dialogue written by Tony Kushner, a versatile cast with amazing performances headed by Daniel Day-Lewis as Abraham Lincoln, Sally Field as Mary Todd Lincoln, Tommy Lee Jones as Thaddius Stevens and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Robert Lincoln, incredible directing by Steven Spielberg, wonderful cinematography by Janusz Kaminski, a nice score by John Williams and a long but alright pace and flow, Lincoln is basically one story about the end of Lincoln's life, but it will also help you learn and understand about how the 13th amendment was created.
