Review of Lincoln (2012) by Jacob W — 14 May 2015
Steven Spielberg delivers a solid film about the greatest president in our nation's history, brought to life by an Oscar winning performance from Day-Lewis with strong supporting performances from Field and Lee Jones.
Although it's highly engaging for those who enjoy politics and history it loses audience from those who strictly look for entertainment in a film as it tends to dry the eyes of excitement. It's a wonderful portrayal of the final days of President Lincoln, even if it has some flaws.
