The only thing I can gather from this beautifully-made drama is that those opponents of Lincoln had bushy beards, used long and obnoxiously long words, and there was a kid at the start and wasn't mentioned again.
Yes, it may have top reviews, but for me, it was clumsily edited and the information is stuff we already knew.
