Daniel Day-Lewis Gives the Performance of a Lifetime!
Originally written January 17, 2013--.
Steven Spielberg directs two-time Academy Award winner Daniel Day-Lewis in Lincoln -- with an all-star ensemble cast including Sally Field, Tommy Lee Jones, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. This inspiring and revealing drama focuses on the 16th President's tumultuous final four months in office as this visionary leader pursues a course of action to end the Civil War, unite a fractured nation, and abolish slavery.
Daniel Day-Lewis gives the performance of a lifetime as President Abraham Lincoln! I was absolutely captivated by this true depiction of the end of the Civil War and the abolition of slavery as seen through the eyes of this incredible man. I couldn't believe how emotional and captivating this story and Day-Lewis' performance was for me! But Steven Spielberg is a proven storyteller, and he outdid himself yet again! Highly highly recommend! Must see!
