Review of Lincoln (2012) by Tommie G — 17 Nov 2016
A snap shot of one of the best US war presidents during a very pivotal moment in American politics. A man with enough humanity and political genius to add an amendment to the constitution that would free slaves as a 'war strategy'.
Seeing as my great great grandparents and maybe even my great grandparents were most certainly slaves, this film serves a necessity, even in this day and age, as a humble reminder. When it comes to films about slavery this film about putting an end to it has got to be the best one.
