Bradley Cooper plays a writer who suffers from chronic writers block & is ultimately a big time loser. A chance meeting with his drug dealing ex brother in-law soon changes that when he is introduced to an illegal pharmaceutical drug called NZT which gives the user 100% access to our brains.
The drug unlocks his brain's full potential & his powers become limitless & he is propelled to untold success. But soon the drug's troubling side effects take a grip on him which will have devastating consequences.
Not only is he battling the side effects & possible death, he must evade others who want the drug for themselves.
