Review of Limitless (2011) by Matthew B — 30 Jul 2014

Very interesting premise that alternately succeeds and fails, both within the plot and visually. I'm unsure as to whether I'm relieved or disappointed that the movie avoids taking a stand with a message on substances or addiction, but I am saddened by the wasted potential evidenced by a lack of realism, along with the fact that Limitless glosses over and/or ignores lose threads and ends with a confusingly positive scene that must have tested better with an everyman audience than what I assume the writer would have wanted- a writer I can guarantee was on Adderall while he wrote this script.
