Review of Limitless (2011) by Drew R — 10 Mar 2015

Being much darker than expected, Limitless succeeds in being an exciting couple of hours. The somewhat unique concept (although perhaps not all too different from the many superhero movies out there) is used well, whilst importantly focusing on the negatives of the enhancing drug.

Apart from Cooper, the characters aren't developed particularly well. When the story diverts from our lead, it is often confusing and seemingly unimportant to the main plot. Despite this I enjoyed the concept of limitless, and appreciated the dark tone they approached it with.
