Review of Lilo & Stitch (2002) by Eduardo C — 29 Feb 2012
I just adore this film. I really wish Disney would go back to this look and style. It's heavily influenced by Japanese anime and it's not as strait-laced, formulaic and conservative as other Disney films.
It's more quirky, outrageous and bolder and funnier. Favorite scene is when Stitch builds a toy replica San francisco and then pretends to be Godzilla destroying what he built and all the Elvis parts.
The drawings are thicker, more voluptuous, fatter I guess , lol, with lovely pleasing colors.
