Review of Lilo & Stitch (2002) by Ale L — 07 Jan 2014
Lilo and Stitch is one of those Disney animated films that did excellent in the 2000s. The story and setting is something different that the studio has never done before. Setting in Hawaii with a sister relationship plus an alien from outer space is all you need to make a fair Disney film instead of having the princesses taking over the show.
The alien side of the story might be a little distracting at times, but the voice actors they got for those character are great choices. Especially the voice of Captain Gru. The animation is actually creative.
I like how the character designs are more round than square, it fits perfectly for the human characters. I'm glad this movie had some Hawaiian music in the background instead of the characters singing along.
The characters are memorable too. I mean who wouldn't remember the character Stitch. Lilo and Stitch is a Disney movie that you should see when you get tired of the typical fairly tale story that Disney always makes.
