Review of Lilo & Stitch (2002) by The A — 25 Jul 2014
Lilo and Stitch is an instant Disney classic. Some plot elements may seem familiar, but they're pulled off in an acceptable manner, as well as mingled with fresh elements that give it it's distinct appeal.
The animation is also brilliant (I always get nostalgic over traditionally animated feature films), and the titular duo share some pretty good chemistry. Stitch himself remains one of my favorite film characters to date, and his emotional struggle and character development are handled superbly.
All in all, I have to wonder whether or not directors Chris Sanders and Dean Deblois can ever really do wrong.
