Mediocre (there's a reason Hollywood is synonymous with movie-making & Marseilles is not). This movie would have been much more interesting if the male lead was portrayed as being a terrible writer who -- possible spoiler here -- have you stopped reading yet? -- who gets no appreciation for his non-talent.
Also, a big deal is made out of Lila's blondness, yet they didn't cast an actual blonde in the role, which is odd.
