Review of Like Water for Chocolate (1992) by Eric S — 27 Nov 2013
The 1992 film "Like Water for Chocolate" is a brilliant piece based on an earlier book of the same name. Set in the early 1900's in Mexico, Its a Love Story filled with wonderful food metaphors, beautiful traditional Mexican music and a story line equally as powerful as the actors deliverance.
The ending of "Como Agua para Chocolate" doesn't quite fit in and is a little confusing but as a lover of "love lost and love regained" stories I was left breathless.
