Review of Like Stars on Earth (2007) by Priyanka B — 26 Jun 2009

My respect for Aamir Khan shot through the roof when I realized what a difficult topic he had decided to tackle with his directorial debut. The film is groundbreaking because it tries to raise social consciousness in a mainstream formula, with the usual songs, etc.

The child actor was really good, and though the storyline could have been shortened by at least 20 minutes, it was well worth the time. It's not possible to watch this film without getting emotional.
