Review of Like Stars on Earth (2007) by Yi-Chieh C — 10 Jan 2012
I finished watching this and tired to simultaneously, wipe the tears from my eyes, wipe the massive grin from my mouth and search for a fault in this hugely sentimental, occasionally ridiculous Bollywood hit from Actor-turned Director (but not boxer) Aamir Khan.
I couldn't find any. It's beautiful, it made me cry uncontrollably at regular 7 minute intervals, it deliniates all the problems inherent with the Indian Education System. And it's the only film iv'e ever seen that concludes with a massive Art-Draw/Paint-off.
