Review of Like Someone in Love (2012) by Tanvir M — 16 Jun 2014
Kiarostami takes on the mantle of a World Director, moving beyond his native Iran to look at different cultures through a more universal humanist perspective. The minimalist film with an abrupt conclusion will feel jarring to people who like films neatly tied up, but the moments of simple beauty and poignancy are profoundly humane.
