Review of Like Father (2018) by Teddy F — 10 Aug 2018
When I saw the critic and audience score for this movie, I was legitimately shocked; I thought they'd be much higher. I genuinely enjoyed this movie and found it to be a heartfelt dramedy. Great performances from Kristen Bell and Kelsey Grammer, with the added bonus of a well-written fun script, and you've got a pretty solid movie.
The criticisms for commercialism, comedy clichés, and predictability, while founded in some truth, took nothing away from the movie...at least for me. I liked this one, and as long as you don't have a stick up your ass you'll probably too.
