Review of Like Crazy (2011) by Richard B — 12 Mar 2012

I liked this movie a little, but felt that it really didn't connect with me as much as it could have (I feel bad saying this, but I didn't really even care if the two leads got together in the end).

The acting by the two leads is pretty solid and Jennifer Lawrence is good in her small role. The script seems forced at times even though it has a good premise. The film skips over long periods of time and you don't get to see how the characters change and therefore you question their decision making.

I did think the film was shot really unique and it was really cool. I also felt a few major scenes of the movie weren't even shown and I thought the viewer was cheated by this. Overall, yes the film had a lot of problems, but I still did enjoy it a little.
