Seems like it could be one of those seminal modern romantic films in the vein of Before Sunrise/Sunset, but instead, it's just pretty ordinary. Nothing terrible here: decent direction, decent writing, decent acting, paying attention to the details, making sure the story feels genuine, real.
Never took off for me, though. It has some small moments of good quality (Jones, specifically), but that's it, otherwise it just floats along until the appropriate, but unsurprising conclusion.
