Review of Like Crazy (2011) by Casey B — 14 Apr 2012
I was somewhat disappointed by this indie drama. It's like a more fragmented, less interesting version of All The Real Girls. Really though, the problem I have with Like Crazy comes down to the male lead.
Though Anton Yelchin is subtle and solid in the role, the character himself is obnoxious. If you love somebody as much as he supposedly does, it should be an easy decision to up and move to another country.
A relationship doesn't work without sacrifices. Instead, we get an hour and a half of bitchy, self centered- emo behavior from a guy who clearly isn't truly in love.
