Review of Like Crazy (2011) by Kalamár G — 24 Nov 2012
The most down to earth and honest romance movie I've ever seen! It's not this extravagant, impossible super romance film with incredible feats and unnatural acting. The bottom line is that from time to time love sucks and this film embraces that fact with open arms.
Magnificent modern filmmaking. You feel like you are going through these struggles along with these two. Anton Yelchin and Felicity Jones are the best on-screen couple in years. Your heart will crumble in the hands of the beautiful and talented Felicity Jones.
All of the dialogue and physical acting feel completely natural and unscripted. From a filmmaking standpoint this movie couldn't possibly be better. This film feels almost like a magnificent painting, a beautiful work of art.
It's very intuitive and operatic. Many films were overlooked by moviegoers in 2011, sadly of which this was one, but this film was extremely underrated. A majestic, romantic masterpiece.
