Review of Like Crazy (2011) by Chris G — 19 Apr 2013
Like Crazy is a beautiful, if flawed, love story. The film serves as an excellent character study of the two leads; Anton Yelchin and Felicity Jones both feel very real throughout the film, mostly due to the excellent performances and great script.
I think the actors and story are the main draw of this film, but otherwise, it's nothing too groundbreaking. Like Crazy can be surprising in its emotional intensity, but unlike Blue Valentine, you will probably be watching the credits with a warm fuzzy feeling instead of with a cold pit in your stomach.
