I read a lot of explanations about why this movie isn't as successful as it could have been, but none hit the heart of the reason. There is a lot of explanation about getting the concept across, and many people say that is where the movie is struggling.
That isn't true in my opinion. As an avid fan of toy story anything that has to do with Buzz is very exciting, but instead of making an action Sci-fi movie about Buzz the hero; he is turned into the villain.
Hero movies are fun. This movie is not fun.
