Review of Lights Out (2016) by Andre V — 03 Aug 2016
While it did pull off some creative stuff in the cinematography and lighting effects, the rest of the movie falls flat on its face. Some pretty stale dialogue, uninteresting character chemistry and a massive Avenged Sevenfold poster that gets a hilarious amount of screen-time.
.. this film doesn't do much but throw out some jump scares and an out-of-left-field shock value ending. Seriously... who wrote that ending?
