Lights Out.
To protect her little brother, a young woman must face an evil entity from her mother's past.
Lights Out doesn't bring anything refreshing to the genre as far as ghost stories go but for one simple yet effective gimmick: the specter can only exist in the dark. Hiding under the covers won't save you.
Grade: B-.
