Lights Out story isn't twisted or unpredictable how it could have been, however it counts with a breathless plot, terrific performances by its cleverly choosed cast, with a well-written narrative and with some worthy jumpscares.
The mainly difference between a good horror movie and a bad horror movie is the content of its story. The most part of the horror movies are bad, because they have a superficial story and a lot of lazy jumpscares, so this movie is undoubtly the opposite.
