Despite of LOTS of minor incoherences (there are plotholes, exposition and conveniences), this movie is good. There are nice jump scares, they get repetitive, but not for long. There is a nice subversion of cliches: It's not the kid who talks to the monster and the boyfriend only pretends to be retard.
