An intriguing horror film with the premise playing on people's fear of what's in the dark not the dark itself. All the actors put in a solid performance and the entity that haunts them is genuinely scary.
Clever use of camera angles and effects to keep the use of light and dark fresh throughout the film. It doesn't meet the terrifying heights of conjuring 2 nor is it as clever in the use of jump scares but a serviceable horror none the less.
