This is not a Western. It's a Hollywood musical. It's a chick flick too. It was made when Western Swing music was popular. But even the music in the movie is weak. And why are they riding horses and using horses and wagons when they have cars and trucks? And in 1944 there was a war going on.
Weren't they rationing gas back then?
