Review of Lights in the Dusk (2006) by Harry T — 04 Oct 2007
Kaurismäki is great at justifying the reasons of the commoners to try to exact vengeance. The way the protagonist is used, you'll be surprised he doesn't attempt it earlier. When you have dreams of grandeur you have to know that people usually get to the top by crushing others ambitions, not by being honest and helpful to them.
