Review of Lifeforce (1985) by Erik W — 22 Jul 2011
Very interesting flim about space vampires with great visual effects work by John Dykstra. One of the better films to come from the Cannon Group who didn't produced many films that were succesful. This one is no exception but it's still entertaining enough. Too bad Patrick Stewart didn't have more to do in this movie but this was before he found fame as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in "Star Trek: The Next Generation". I definately have to mention that Mathilda May was beautiful in this, her part didn't give her much to do but her presents was enough.
Legendary composer Henry Mancini did the music for this movie and it was a different tone for him because we're all used to his jazz influence work, but he did a good job here.
