Director Tobe Hooper and screenwriters Dan O'Bannon and Don Jakoby produced one of the most bizarre, outlandish, ambitious and ridiculous (sometimes intentionally bad) B-movies ever made. Based on the book The Space Vampires, Lifeforce is extremely flawed - and occasionally incoherent (it's troubled production evidenced), propelled by 'bad-movie' dialogue - but it is also bloody entertaining.
